I have installed aux hydrolics on my tractor to run a wood splitter but it doesn't mover the splitter ram at all. The wood splitter works fine when the I add hose to the splitter and run it off of the the quick disconnects for the bucket. But the hoses are long and I have to tie the scv lever to activate fluid flow. I have tried trouble shooting the system and have fluid come out of any fitting that I loosen. The one place I get fluid that confuses me is when I removed the fitting from the inlet on the back of the tractor fluid come out of both hose and the tractor I would appreciate any ideas that anyone might have on how correct this problem. I thought that the installation instuctions were clear and the over all installation was easy

Deere makes two different rear power kits. One diverts your SCV power to the rear.
The other is a power beyond kit. This is the one that you would need to run a splitter, backhoe or any other device that has its own control valves. ....

If Iam reading your problem correctly, I quessing you installed a power beyond kit. If so, then you need to check the power beyond block that is sandwiched beween the side of the tractor and the dscv. Remove the front port inspection plug on this sandwiched block and look inside and see if there is a 1/8" pipe plug in the small threaded hole. If not, install a 1/8" pipe plug into this passage. you should have gotten this pipe plug with the kit. This may be your problem. Keep us informed on your progress. ....

The wood splitter is a splitfire 230 I don't know the tonnage but it split 24" dry maple butt ends with no problem. The reason I bought this splitter is because it splits in both directions.I split about 1 cord in about 3 hrs. with a lot of it big pieces that I had to wrestle up onto the splitter. I've only used the splitter this one time but so far I really like it. I think the web address is split-fire.com hope this helps. ....

I did install what the dealer sold to me as a power beyound kit, my instalation instructions tell me to remove that plug if I don't have a tractor with scv. I had some one else tell me that there is another kit called rear auxiliary hydrolic kit which is what the installation instruction paperwork is so it looks like the dealership gave me the wrong kit. I went to the dealership on saturday and of course all there was there was there was salesmen who had no clue about anything. I told them that I couldn't see how this was going to work because there are three outlets on the block that go to the same port and I couldn't see how fluid was going to go into the same port that it was going out of.thank you for your response ....

Thank you for responding I had somesome else tell me that I had to install a plug into a port and the instructions I have tell me to remove the plug only if my tractor doesn't have scv. So I took a closer look at my installation instructions they are titled rear auxiliary hydrolic kit for 4110. I thought that there was something wrong so I went to the dealership on saturday but there was only salesmen there and they had no clue about anything. I told them that I didn't understand how this was going to work because there were three outlets going to the same port on the replacement block. Now I've got to go and battle with the dealership because there probably don't want to make good on their mistake. thanke again for your response ....

this appears to be the kit that I have After looking at the john deere web site parts page the kit didn't have a small plug that goes into the replacement body, so I called the dealership yesterday and told them what part to order. Hopefully Ican install the plug without taking everything apart. ....

Did the plug work? I have the same tractor with the same problem...identical! My kit did come with the plug and I took everything apart again and installed it. The log splitter did act differently, however, I think the plug blocked the return line stopping the free flow of oil. Maybe the kit came with the wrong plug? My installation instructions did not say for a 4110. They just say Rear auxiliary hydraulic kit. ....
